ENTRIES MUST COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Professionally designed products or services designed in Australia or overseas are eligible to enter.
  • The product or service must be in full commercial production and available on the market by the time of assessment. Product samples must be in full commercial packaging with accompanying documentation (including user manuals and warranties).
  • Prototypes, off-tool samples or products still undergoing trials are not eligible to enter.

  • Medical and/or therapeutic goods available for sale in Australia that have not gained Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approval are not eligible to enter.
  • Product entries must be complete products, not parts thereof. Individual products sold within a range (not for individual sale) are not eligible to enter - the full range must be submitted for evaluation. A system or component of a product is not eligible to enter on its own unless it is sold separately.
  • The entry must comply with all applicable Australian and International Standards for the intended marketplace. All entries must be accompanied with evidence of Standards compliance if and where applicable.

ENTRY CLASSES
  • To determine your Entry Class, products must be measured accurately (within +/- 1cm), including all submission material and the packaging in which the product and accompanying material will be shipped (including crates and fixed pallets). Should your entry be deemed to fall into another Entry Class than what you have allocated in your online application form, further charges will apply at the time of assessment.
  • Industry applicants will be asked for valid credit card details to complete the payment. Payments using VISA or Mastercard will incur an additional bank charge of 1.5%. Payments using Diners Club will incur an additional bank charge of 2.73%. Payments using American Express will incur an additional bank charge of 3.25%. If you are not permitted by your company to use a credit card for online payments, contact us.
  • A tax invoice will be sent to each applicant shortly after their application has been lodged.
  • In the event that your entry is deemed eligible for further assessment, freight costs, duties and taxes associated with the transportation of any submission material to and from the assessment site are the responsibility of the applicant.
  • In the event that your entry is deemed ineligible for further assessment, your application fee will be refunded to you.
  • Offsite inspections are only permissible if your entry cannot be shipped to Sydney due to size or weight constraints. Please contact us for approval to be classed under this category.

APPLICATION FORM

Each entry must be submitted with the following information:
  • Contact details for the Applicant, Designer and Client/Manufacturer
  • Companies to be recognised on published material
  • Entry description and key features and/or benefits
  • Market information
  • Environmental impact and environmental statement (if applicable)
  • Materials specification (if applicable)

IMAGES

Each entry must be submitted with up to five images at the following specifications:
  • Pixel dimensions: 1,000 wide x 695 high
  • Resolution: minimum 72dpi
  • Colour mode: RGB
  • File type: JPEG
  • File size: maximum 1MB

Images that do not comply with these specifications may not be accepted on entry.

REGISTERING

Once you have prepared your entry content, visit the Enter Now section of our website to submit your entry. Your email address is your username and you may select a password.

Keep your login details in a safe place to allow you to revise the application form at any stage prior to final submission. Your login details may also be provided to colleagues for their input and to gain the relevant company approvals prior to making your final submission. Please note however that once you have made your final submission, you will no longer be able to revise your application form.
