Description

The Chappelli Nuvinci is a new type of urban bicycle that simplifies cycling and enhances the overall riding experience. The bicycle's design, refinement, and its standout feature is the NuVinci® N360™ continuously variable drivetrain that makes riding quieter, smoother and more enjoyable by allowing the cyclist to quickly find and maintain their optimum ratio for every type of terrain and riding condition. With the NuVinci drivetrain shifting is as easy as adjusting the volume on a radio.

A continuously variable NuVinci® hub means shifting gears through a 360% ratio range is as easy and seamless as turning the volume on your radio.

This is the first time that the revolutionary NuVinci® N360™ has been used on a bicycle in Australia. It allows riders to smoothly, quietly and easily change ratio to find their optimum setting for the conditions and terrain. No longer are there cadence interruptions, missed gears, abrupt step changes or body jolts as you clunk through gear changes. N360's 360% ratio range offers riders a wide low to high range that is defined by the cyclist, unlike the defined gearing of a conventional derailleur mechanism. The Chappelli Nuvinci delivers worry-free cadence select on that makes riding less tiring, easier on the body and a lot more enjoyable!

Hand-made lugged chrome alloy (CrMo) frame and fork, triple coated and hand polished for a stronger, lighter and more robust commuting bicycle.

Each chrome alloy frame is hand built to custom specifications by a master frame-builder. CrMo has the strength of steel (yet without the weight) and the lugs deliver additional strength and support. This makes the frame very sturdy and more able to withstand the trials of daily commuting.

The wide leather seat and hand-stitched leather grips with integrated 360° visibility lighting system prioritise the comfort and safety of the cyclist.

The comfort of the rider is paramount on the Chappelli Nuvinci. The integrated LED lights in the grips provide 360° visibility without the hassle of external lights. The NuVinci® N360™ hub also has all of its gears contained within a waterproof casing, making them more resilient to dirt and rust; eliminating the need for regular maintenance.
