Deep Orange Design - Neil Waldbaum
My Squeeze is a reusable food pouch for babies and young children that can be filled with any viscous squeezable snack of your choice. Suitable for homemade baby food, yogurt, custard, jelly, smoothies and more! Perfect for a healthy, waste free daycare lunch box or as children start school it becomes a great substitute for the frozen poppers and pre packaged yoghurts. My Squeeze also gives parents the chance to make health conscious choices for their children by cutting out the sugar and cost from the single serve disposable 'Squeezies'. Fun, Colourful, Safe and Ergonomic!
With Day Cares and schools now moving towards waste free lunches, My Squeeze is a great option to cut out the waste of the single serve disposable 'squeezies' such as yoghurts and fruit purees.
My Squeeze is made from soft, non-stick, food grade silicone and polypropylene which is easy to clean. It can be hand washed or place on the top shelf of your dishwasher. The body is designed with no internal corners and has large openings to allow easy access and minimal food particle traps.
My Squeeze has the 'bear ear' cap which is great for little hands to open but more importantly the size is suitable for young children as all components are large and do not present a choking hazard.
My Squeeze allows families to buy products in bulk, such as yoghurt, and portion it out into a My Squeeze for school lunches. This over even a short period will save families on the cost of their shopping. While there may be competitve reuasable plasitc pouches on the market, they have a limited lifespan. My Squeeze has been designed to be used thousands of times over and will withstand expected rough treatment from children.
The 'Bear Ear' cap is ergonomically designed with a 3/4 turn for little hands to open intuitively. A Haptic feedback is designed into cap closure. A Click sensation notifies the user when the cap is sealed or opened. In addition the visual cue of the “ears” aligning with the sides signifies the closed position. The Cap is permanently attached to the unit, so it cannot be lost.
