Description

Finely slicing vegetables lengthways could only be achieved by hand held vegetable peelers and mandolins. Breville's new food processor is now the ultimate tool for wafer thin ribbons of food. An adjustable stainless steel slicing disc provides 24 precise thickness settings from 0.3mm to 8mm. The extra wide feed chute allows large vegetables such as carrots, potatoes and zucchinis to be sliced end-to-end for vegetable bakes, pizzas, lasagnes and salad platters.

A great range of tools in a superb storage box allow you to effortlessly chop, knead, puree, mince, shred, julienne, chip, whisk and slice your own fresh preservative-free ingredients.

Breville first launched the Kitchen Wizz in 1977, and has combined this 30 years of knowledge and customer feedback with extensive innovation in its Sydney design studio to launch a new best-in-class food processor. A 2000W direct drive induction motor is housed in a solid diecast housing. A 3.5 litre sealed bowl, with rubber mounted bearing, maximises liquid capacity and ensures no food escapes while pouring. A large 14cm wide feedtube with integrated safety system reduces pre-cutting and allows for much larger slicing output. An array of quality Stainless Steel processing tools are safely housed in a dedicated storage box.

Performance and precision: the design centred on obtaining the best performance on a large variety of quite different processing tasks.

A unique aligned Quad processing blade works on 4 planes to ensure food is drawn down into the mix and results in consistent results even when processing for just a few seconds.

A dough blade stretches rather than cuts the dough.

A sintered stainless steel centre turret is aligned by bushes top and bottom. The unique rubber mounted top bush incorporates a stainless steel wear plate to prevent the discs from jumping without using clips. A variety of processing discs simply drop onto the shaft, spinning accurately and withstanding the large downward forces from the large feedtube surface area.

The Adjustable Slicing stainless steel slicing disc has a finely tuned mechanism with 24 settings from 0.3 to 8mm. Combined with the large feed tube and sintered support spindle, it precisely slices very large potatoes for a layered bake in seconds, or finely slices a zucchini lengthways for a pizza.

The patented Quad blade can take 800g of meat, a whole onion, a full bunch of coriander, and process them into a consistent mince in 10 seconds.

The LCD has a count up or down timer that also alerts to insert the food pusher or warns of overload situations.

Safety. A key to the ease of use of the product is a unique feedtube safety system that prevents operation until the pusher is inserted.

An insert moulded acetal channel on the pusher activates a safety system that is coupled to electronic braking. When the pusher is removed, the disc or blades stop rotating in less than 2 seconds.

A chef's tool box holds all tools in a format that requires no dexterity or ingenuity to return them to their correct position. The Quad blade has a dishwasher safety cover so it can be left in the dishwasher without the risk of a child cutting themselves.

No force is required to assemble or disassemble the razor sharp tools from the bowl or shafts.

Users of the Kitchen Wizz Pro will notice thoughtful details throughout the product. Such as a unique extra mini-bowl and blade format that seals in ingredients so the main bowl does not need cleaning. The vertical sides of the mini bowl flare out at the top so foods can still be introduced through the large feedtube. The processing bowl never touches the diecast base, its held up on acetal pads to reduce wear and corrosion.
