BRP's 2013 Sea-Doo RXP-X 260 model is a high performance watercraft developed in collaboration with world-champion racers. Every aspect of the machine was reinvented to enhance ergonomics, performance and visual impact. The design theme is drawn from the overall character of a shark and is reflected by the forceful "flowing facet" design language that is true to Sea-Doo DNA. The main innovation resides in what we call “the Ergolock System” with “knee-pockets” that helps the rider “lock-in” using optimal leg strength that reduces efforts on arms and shoulders. The result is unsurpassed control with considerably less fatigue.

The ''Ergolock System” is composed of a fully adjustable handlebar, a patented seat shape and complementary foot rests. These elements were conceived following kinetic studies and allow the rider to be in perfect symbiosis with the machine. The special seat provides “knee-pockets” that helps the rider “lock-in” using optimal leg strength that reduces efforts on arm and shoulder muscles. The result is an unsurpassed sensation of total control with considerably less fatigue during aggressive riding and racing situations.
The revolutionary “T3” hull featuring a unique T-shaped profile makes the boat floating on a narrow surface at cruising speed for sharper turns, uncompromised handling capabilities and excellent wave's penetration while providing a very large floating surface at low speed for a great stability. In other words, our goal was to create a better machine that creates better pilots.
Our exclusive Intelligent Brake and Reverse (iBR™) system provides the ability to stop up to 100 feet sooner than any other personal watercraft. Our hand brake keeps your hands on the handlebars, giving you the maximum amount of control. Finally, it makes docking far easier than it’s ever been.

With our Intelligent Throttle Control (iTC) intuitive technology, you have improved situational awareness with heads-up technology. Our unique throttle system allows you to start in neutral. Novice riders can start with a Learning Key™ that limits engine speed, allowing first time users and inexperienced riders develop skills and confidence in a controlled manner.
