The BUGG® was designed to complete BeefEater's range with a compact barbecue. Allowing BeefEater to compete in a relatively new niche market driven by upwardly mobiles and baby boomers. A market exploited by brands such as the Weber Q. BeefEater excelled by maintaining its values of high power, robustness, quality & reliability parallel to employing the necessary compactness, portability, versatility and good looks, which appeal to an international market. Resulting in a personality rich product connecting to the user through eye-catching design and colour. The BUGG® operates with or without a stand and is accessorised with covers and lots more.

Designed to be space saving, efficient and compact. Easy to move and to separate the barbecue from its stand to make it portable (for beach/camping use). Small in footprint (width including stand 585mm) with a generous cooking space (1860 cm2). Manufactured with a lightweight cast aluminum body incorporating grip handles on front and back, for ease of transportation. Sturdy detachable shelves can be packed inside the barbecue for ease of travel & storage. The BUGG® offers cooking flexibility as it comes standard with ½ grill & ½ plate. The product and its accessories fit into a purpose designed wheeling bag.
The soft, stylish elliptical design of the hood is not only attractive, but facilitates efficient convection cooking. The shape ensures reflected heat is distributed evenly when the hood is closed, allowing the barbecue to achieve more than a grilling result. A 190mm internal hood height ensures there is enough space for cooking larger items. An innovative spring-assist mechanism aides smoother operation, allowing partial hood opening (ideal for some cooking processes) and prevents abrupt closing. The colour choices (bright amber and graphite) compliment any outdoor décor. The vitreous enamel coating is highly durable and easy cleaning.
Two independently controlled stainless steel D-shaped burners deliver even & efficient heat for cooking, whilst eliminating cold spots. Delivering up to 20 MJ/Hr, the BUGG® performance exceeds expectations. Passing all appropriate international regulations & standards of safety the BUGG’s performance is on par with any high end trolley barbeque. The plate and grill design configuration minimises flare-ups. The Quartz Start® Ignition ensures the barbecue fires up every time. Individually controlled dual burners provide flexibility by controlling heat separately on either side of the barbecue or to only use half of the barbecue keeping energy consumption low.
Sturdy ergonomic mobile stand enables flexibility to move the barbecue. The elevated wheel design allows all four legs to contact the ground for maximum stability by only contacting the ground when lifted by the handle. A gas bottle up to 9kg can be mounted on the hook at the rear and remain out of sight while enabling the user to minimize the foot print. The secured grease tray beneath the barbecue is easy to remove and grease catchment is easy to dispose of. The ribbed legs of the stand and chrome shelf at the base enhance stability.
The Beefeater hallmark of durability is warranted by the use of materials and finishes that promote longevity: aluminum, vitreous enamel steel, stainless steel, phenolic, enameled cast iron and heat proof Nylon plastics. The vitreous enamel coated hood is durable and is easy to clean. The enameled cast iron grill & plate are enduring, easy to clean and have excellent heat retention. The ribbed stand is both sturdy and stable and all components of the BBQ are recyclable. All materials were selected based on their corrosion resistance and maintenance free characteristics, while ensuring they can withstand heat and the elements outdoors.
