Description
The Compu Pool C-Series is a range of salt water chlorine generators that have been specifically developed for municipal, hotel, water park, school and other commercial swimming pool applications. The C-Series automatically sanitises pool water, which eliminates the need for liquid chlorine storage and handling, improves water quality, lowers chemical and maintenance costs and enhances the swimming experience by removing irritating chloramines. The C-Series has a clean and modern aesthetic, and displays a high level of innovation and design that has not been seen in this class of product before.
Key Features
and/or Benefits
The C-Series has a unique and innovative modular design that facilitates rapid assembly and disassembly, and enables for a vast range of models to be produced from one design.
Rather than a cumbersome welded chassis or frame, the C-Series is constructed with assembled sheet-metal modules. These modules can be quickly assembled and configured depending on the quantity of electrolytic cells required. The larger the pool and sanitisation demand, the more electrolytic cell modules are used. This enables the C-Series to be suitable for swimming pools from a capacity of 100,000 to 6,000,000 Litres.

Designed for simple and intuitive operation the C-Series has one central control panel with LCD display.
All parts that need to be periodically replaced, such as the electrolytic cell (every 6 years), are quickly and simply removed for switching out. The electrical components are clearly organised and accessible for any maintenance requirements.
A semi-automatic acid wash system is incorporated that enables simple and safe cleaning of the electrolytic cells without having to remove them from the plumbing lines.

The C-Series has been thoughtfully designed with a number of innovations. The sheet-metal construction is assembled entirely with screws, no skilled technicians are required to weld parts together during assembly.
The hinged lids and removable doors enable easy viewing and access to the various modules for operational and maintenance purposes.
The sheet-metal covers protect all of the internal components, provide large flat surfaces that are easy to clean, and are styled to give a striking modern aesthetic.

The C-Series Chlorinator works with slightly salinated pool water (0.3% NaCl), less than one tenth the salinity of sea water. As the pool water passes through the electrolytic cells, the process of electrolysis produces hypochlorous acid (HOCl), which is the active agent that destroys bacteria and algae, and oxidizes organic matter. This form of chlorine works quickly in the pipe, leaving only a mild residual in the pool. Additionally this form of sanitisation removes irritating chloramines that cause sore eyes and noses.
Developed with energy efficient Switch Mode Power Supplies the C-Series delivers sanitisation with very low electrical consumption levels (5kw per kg of chlorine produced). As liquid chlorine is no longer required, the maintenance costs of the swimming pool facility are dramatically reduced with both chemical and personnel cost savings.
The C-Series has been developed to integrate with pool management control equipment, enabling the system to be automatically turned on only when chlorine levels are low and sanitisation is required.
