A switch depicting a snowflake? A simple graphic symbol visualizes this new to the world technical innovation: CoolTec is the first shaver that cools the skin during a dry shave. When activated, the integrated Peltier element cools the temperature of the aluminum strip in the shaver head, down to around 5°C, pleasantly cooling the skin and reducing shaving irritation. The snowflake on the additional switch sends an unmistakable message, which is supported by the metallic ice-blue color of the body. The design clearly communicates the cooling benefit, and establishes this product as a unique addition to the Braun shaver range.

Whilst most shavers allow warmth to build up in the head of the sahver, CoolTec has an aluminum cooling bar that cools down the skin during the shave, minimizing redness, burning and itching sensations. Leaving a cool and refreshed trace behind.
