Description
EONA - Everything Old is New Again. EONA is an environmentally considered table system manufactured from 100% recycled aluminium for the legs and leg supports, and recycled steel for the framework. EONA features a frame system that allows the legs to be positioned infinitely along the beams and the legs to be set at various angles for maximum adjustability. EONA is available in a wide range of sizes and shapes and can be customised to suit almost any application. EONA can also be supplied as a table base to suit any worktop material.
Key Features
and/or Benefits
EONA is designed to offer the interiors industry a contemporary product manufactured from old materials. One of the most important environmental features of EONA is that more than 93% of the materials (by weight) are made from 100% recycled content, with the remaining 7% made from approximately 40% recycled content (note that an average table size has been used for this measurement). EONA is designed with minimal materials and is easy to disassemble for recycling. EONA is packaged in recycled cardboard pulp moulds and cartons.
With a one piece leg that bolts directly into the die cast aluminium leg support, the components of the table base have been minimised to make assembly faster and to reduce the number of parts. The design allows the leg stance to be adjusted on site to suit the clients specific requirements and the feet can be angled at 0, 22.5 and 45 degrees. The table can easily be reconfigured to suit multiple leg tables by adding another set of legs and worktop. EONA's modular leg design suits worktops of almost any shape including round, boat and custom shaped tops.
The EONA base uses die cast aluminium components, hard tooled fabricated metal components and injection moulded plastic parts. The combination of standard sized castings and tooled components makes manufacturing efficient and cost effective. Wastage is minimised and components are manufactured in batches before being boxed and stored to create further economies. EONA is flat packed to allow maximum storage on pallets and reduce transportation costs. EONA is supplied with a 10 year warranty.
Recycled aluminium was chosen for environmental reasons, increased strength and improved durability. Die cast aluminium can be tooled to create a purposely shaped structure strong enough to support a heavy top with a timeless and elegant shape for aesthetic appeal. Steel has been used to provide additional strength for worktop supports and for leg rails, with recyclable polypropylene end caps. All parts (plastic, aluminium and steel) can be re-used or recycled.
EONA is designed for flexibility of function allowing a range of configurations or as part of an integrated telepresence or training table. EONA is available with an optional integrated power and data substructure that offers multiple data and power outlets as well as electrically elevated flat panel computer screens for shared viewing. EONA offers three foot stances and infinite leg positions along the beams to enable users to gain maximum strength/stability and comfort by positioning the legs wherever required. EONA can be easily assembled/disassembled with the use of non-specialist tools and the polished die cast aluminium legs is easily cleaned.
