Description
HozeBitz is an innovative Australian garden hose-fitting connectors which completely eliminate the faults inherent in many universal snap-in hose fittings. Simplicity is king, with no moving parts, no internal moving clips or bearings, and no co-moulded hose clamps which fail under pressure, temperature and heavy use. A simple twist and the water pressure locks the HozeBitz connectors – the clamps withstand high pressure, heat and cold and prolonged use without failure or leakage. A 12mm hose can be connected to an 18mm without modification. The cleverly designed adaptor nut allows connection to any popular hand or gardening watering appliance fittings.

HozeBitz uses a simple bayonet fitting to connect each half of the connector to itself, rather than a multi-part push-pull style assembly. The result is a super strong connection with no moving parts in the system. The lack of moving parts improves the connections reliability, particularly in low temperature and high water pressure scenarios, when compared with many other tap fittings. The bayonet fitting also allows for a constant force on the seals, creating a leak free coupling of the connectors.
Apart from those kinks in a hose, the greatest hose related frustration is when it dislodges itself from the connector. The clamping system between connector and hose on HozeBitz has been designed to withstand maximum pressure load in the system and pulling forces on the hose. The result is a hose clamp which is easy to assemble and disassemble deliberately, yet will not able to dislodge under load.
The HozeBitz connector has a unique rotational cam collar that allows it to couple easily with industry standard hose and accessory fittings. The unique fitting system still allows accessories to swivel free in motion. Competitor products often lock the fittings and hose together which encourages kinks, tangles ,fatigue and failure.
The common fitting between 12mm and 18mm connectors allows hoses of different diameters to be connected together. Generally, most connectors will require an adaptor to fit the two sizes together, whereas HozeBitz does not require any extra accessories. The connector functions equally well with either regular garden hoses or irrigation pipe.
