Husqvarna's X-TORQ gives you more torque where you need it, less fuel consumption, and a cleaner environment in the process. Just as a conventional two-stroke engine, the air/fuel mix enters the crankcase as normal. However, in Husqvarna's X-TORQ engine, there is a second stream of unmixed cleaner air, moving through the piston and entering the transfer ports at the upper end pushing the exhaust gasses out with it. This leads to increased fuel efficiency by up to 20% while reducing exhaust emissions up to 75%.
Until recently all chainsaws had mechanically controlled carburettors which can be sensitive to ambient conditions. This means that the air/fuel ratio varies considerably depending on these parameters and the result is that the fuel consumption and exhaust emissions increase significantly. To overcome this Husqvarna has developed a completely new system that we call AutoTune™. It is an electronically controlled carburettor that gives optimal engine performance throughout the rev range, in any cutting application. No time spent on carburettor adjustments. It compensates for all the variables that affect engine performance - fuels, altitude, humidity, temperature or a clogged air filter.
For us, design is about much more than just looks. Above all, we have designed this saw to help the user achieve higher productivity. As well as being compact, it is easy to maneuver achieved by raising the centre of gravity and reducing the gyro force. We have enhanced the ergonomics in various ways; by optimizing the distance between the handles, by lowering the front handle position, to give you a more comfortable grip, and by making the rear handle asymmetrical. Last but not least, the 562XP features superior vibration dampening using Husqvarna's LowVib® technology and steel spring isolation.
The 562XP showcases the latest breakthrough feature from Husqvarna - Revboost. This feature allows for fast acceleration in chain speed which is especially useful in de-limbing applications. Revboost is controlled by the ignition and enables users to quickly increase to maximum RPM.
Husqvarna's Air Injection is a centrifugal air cleaning system that removes larger dust and debris particles before reaching the air filter. The result is reduced air filter cleanings and improved engine life. Centrifugal cleaning means the following: All air to the carburettor passes through the starter. Dirt and dust is centrifuged out by the cooling fan before reaching the air filter. The result is reduced air filter cleanings and improved engine life.
