It comes with either a 2.4-litre petrol engine, available only in the base Active version, or a 2.2-litre diesel engine available in Active, Elite and Highlander specifications. Santa Fe is a seven-seat vehicle with three rows of seats. The second row slides forward and back, bringing small children closer to front occupants when required. It also splits and folds flat, increasing practicality. The third row of seats folds flat to the floor with one touch of a lever, giving great flexibility and ease of use. Boot space is extremely generous at 1615 litres with all seats folded, or 994 litres seats up. There are air conditioning vents in the second and third rows of seats for greater passenger comfort. The vehicle has a full-size spare wheel.
