Description
An incorrect delivery of bulk chemical fluids can result in disastrous consequences such as violent chemical reactions which place human lives and commercial infrastructure at risk.
The CoDé System® prevents accidents by using wireless RFID technology to monitor the compatibility of chemicals at source and destination points including all conduit interconnections.
The system consists of portable wireless RFID readers, RFID tag collar and bollard housings, a touch screen HMI CPU, audio/visual indicators, valve locks and pump locks.
Key Features
and/or Benefits
Custom designed system ensures the correct delivery of highly corrosive chemicals.
RFID tag collar and bollard housings fitted to each side of every interconnection including hoses, pumps and valves.
Bulk delivery trailer compartments locked until all connections and matching contents have been verified by the HMI CPU.
Easy to operate by the driver/operator fitted in full PPE.
High visibility colours and fluorescent reflective material creates an awareness of delivery activity in progress.

Engineered to withstand exposure to over 70 chemicals including concentrated sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid and caustic soda.
RFID tags are fully encapsulated in a chemical resistant polymer moulded collar or bollard housing. The collar and the bollard receive the maximum exposure to chemicals.
RFID reader electronics and battery are protected by chemical resistant polymer mouldings.
HMI CPU protected inside a fully sealed trailer mounted stainless cabinet

-20°C to 60°C operating temperature.
IP65/IP67 rated.
UV resistant.
The moulded housings are highly resistant to impact and abrasion making it suited to use on industrial work sites.
The trailer mounted HMI CPU display features:
Best in class sunlight visibility, colour saturation and image contrast.
Tough glass touch screen which is highly resistant to scratching and other physical damage. The touch screen can be used with a gloved hand or the customised stylus.

Real time monitoring of every delivery interconnection is displayed on the trailer mounted HMI CPU as a dynamic schematic diagram.
3G connectivity facilitates uploading of event logs to central database and downloading configuration updates.
Driver/operator has audio and visual feedback from each reader, the touch screen HMI CPU and a dedicated AV indicator mounted on each trailer.
Readers are stored and charged inside the trailer mounted rugged cabinet that also houses the touch screen HMI CPU.
CPU and Reader firmware is field upgradeable through wireless connectivity.
