Through our ongoing observations of stroller use we discovered that brakes are not often activated when there is no perception of danger - for example when removing shopping from the parcel tray on level ground, or answering your phone. Navigator 2.0 with Auto Stop is always safe and always convenient, Auto Stop is your silent guardian quietly activating the brake when your hands move from controlling the stroller to other things.
For users who wish to push the stroller without a permanent handgrip, such as when jogging with a stroller, you can lock out the Auto Stop brake with a latch that connects to the wrist strap. If for some reason you stumble, or the stroller separates from the user more than the length of the wrist strap, the taught strap will release the latch and activate the Auto Stop brake normally.
