The Café Series® range is commercially inspired with guaranteed performance. Products in the range feature robust materials, chromed highlights, easy-clean surfaces and intuitive controls. While each design has its own personality, these common elements reinforce the "family" look.

Sunbeam gains inspiration from the ever-changing needs of our consumer, whilst improving on existing technology. These insights into style, usability and manufacturing processes have combined to create Sunbeam's first Planetary Mixmaster®, a truly aspirational kitchen appliance.

Featuring a patented instant pause button, integrated timer, variable speed control, lift assisted head release button; this Mixmaster® is a user-centered, refined, semi-professional Mixer.

Aesthetic

The Mixmaster® appearance leverages the Café Series® language of big arcs and simple surfaces with a strong wide neck, it references a industrial aesthetic.

The front of the mixer is round to reinforce the planetary motion, the air intake is integrated into the head parting line, which gives a depth to the mixer while showing off the premium die cast material.

The outside surfaces communicate a robust, reliable appliance. Straight lines on the top mixing head join to the back leaning surface, a well proportioned solid looking curve. The inside surfaces have softer curves that are easy to wipe clean.

Count Up and Down Timer

The primary function of a mixer is to mix dry and wet ingredients to an even consistency within the bowl. Predominantly, ingredients will be mixed together at varying intervals to make cakes, breads, biscuits, etc.

To check on mixing progress or add ingredients at a specific time, the LCD timer function can be set to count up or down as required. When the time has completed the mixing action will automatically stop. The LCD screen also shows the mixing speed. When the mixer is not in use the in-built timer can be used a kitchen timer, to 90mins.

Instant Pause Button

The patented pause button, conveniently located in the middle of the dial, allows the user, with one quick touch, to stop the mixing action whilst remembering the speed and pausing the timer. The user can then add ingredients, or check on the mixing action. To resume mixing action, repress the pause button, mixing will resume with the same speed and time settings. This feature improves the usability by cutting out the repetitive turning of the speed dial to find the required speed.

This practical and useful addition to the mixing process, allows quick, intuitive, hassle free operation.

Lift Assisted Head Release

An important touch point that is a pleasure to use is the lifting of the mixing head with the large button conveniently and intuitively located on the back corner of the mixer.

The mixer head can be easily released and lifted with one hand. The wide, strong hinge is engineered to take the weight of the motor so the user is in full control of tilting the head.

A stainless steel investment cast cam locks the head securely into position.

The features allows the head to be lifted with ingredient covered fingers, and the button can be easily wiped clean.

Other Features

An in-built safety switch ensures that the mixer only starts when the mixer head is tilted downwards and securely locked in. Lifting the mixer head during the mixing process will automatically cut power to the motor.

There is a sliding cap over the wide hinge opening area to stop harmful situations.

The mixing bowl has an extra wide base, adding stability to the bowl when locked in place or being handled on the kitchen work surface.

A Scrapemaster™ spatula beater is designed to scrape the complete sides and base of the bowl, ensuring all ingredients are mixed thoroughly and quickly.
