Description
The NuVo LED range designed and marketed by 300K Enterprises Pty Ltd is ideally suited to industrial and utilities applications. In addition to pleasing aesthetics it introduces a number of game changing innovations it clearly sets them ahead of the current generation of LED fitting design.
Key Features
and/or Benefits
Styling which also improves functionality and bold colours visually signify this is something different from the norm.
The styling while designed to result in an attractive design also incorporate clever design details to improve the function of the fitting and reduce maintenance requirements during its lifetime. These shape of the fitting results in less build up on its lens due to its water shedding shape and careful material selection. The inclusion of standard features such as sun/impact cover on top, an easily replaced sacrificial lens cover and the incorporation of 300K's award winning connex fitting to enable safe "hot swapping" of fittings continues to delivery the client additional value.
Current methods for rolling out smart grid initiatives such as DSR and smart meter reading currently require the consumer to have a broad band connection to their premises or a radio tower being constructed. Wide scale deployment of our fittings would enable efficient use of existing infrastructure (light poles). Our method would result in a much lower cost per consumer rollout, enable everyone even those tight household budgets to benefit from the savings available. The potential exists for street lighting to become an income stream for the likes of councils which may drive the uptake of efficient LED lighting.
Our NuVo PI model carries an array of sensors to in effect create the world’s first “sentient” light fitting. It continually monitors its external and internal environment and wirelessly reports any exceptions back to a central location. One particularly unique feature which is a world first is the ability for the fitting to detect contaminant build up on the lens and report it before it becomes a safety hazard. The virtual “sentient” ability allows for true condition based maintenance to be implemented around an installations lighting. This dramatically reduces wastage and results in a supremely efficient model.
Another unique patented feature is the ability to utilise the fittings as a method for predicting the effect of whether events (cloud cover) on the PV generation capacity installed around our cities and towns. With the explosion of PV panel installations a new problem has emerged in that power generators need a reliable method of detecting / predicting possible drops in the power being feed into the grid. The result of the current unpredictability is that additional spare capacity is required to compensate for the peaks and trough. Our solution gives an efficient and highly granular solution to the issue.
