					Climate Wizard is a completely new cooling category - a high performance indirect evaporative air conditioner. It delivers cooling results that can rival refrigerated systems, while reducing energy use by up to 80% compared with refrigerated systems. It has a patented ultra-high-efficiency heat exchanger, preventing moisture being added to the delivered air. Climate Wizard can be used globally in conjunction with new and existing refrigerated air conditioning applications to save energy. 						Climate Wizard has been designed to maximise the benefits of evaporative cooling, but not add moisture to the air it cools. This means it can be used in a wider range of locations/applications than traditional (direct) evaporative cooling. While there are other indirect evaporative coolers on the market, none can boast the patented ultra-high-efficiency counterflow heat exchanger that is the heart of Climate Wizard and delivers supercool air - 140% wet bulb depression (compared with 90% for direct evaporative coolers). This world-first energy-crisis solution was developed over more than a decade, by Seeley International's Innovaction Team.
					 
										
						
						By using evaporation to cool, Climate Wizard requires significantly less energy than refrigerated systems (up to 80% less). This has been shown in independent tests by the University of South Australia. Its field tests prove that Climate Wizard operates even more exceptionally, even as temperatures rise to, and above 40 degrees C, with no additional power required - this is altogether contrary to the performance of refrigerated systems, which require increased energy and deliver reduced perfomance as temperatures rise. Lower power requirements result in lower enviromental impact. Plus, Climate Wizard emits no HCFCs and uses no synthetic refrigerants.
					 
										
						
						Climate Wizard can be used in a range of applications to deliver very cold air with greatly reduced running costs. As well as stand-alone systems, Climate Wizard has also been designed to be added in front of refrigerated systems to pre-cool the fresh ambient air (Cold Front Cooling) or to compensate for under-capacity refrigerated systems, providing additional cold, fresh air, very cheaply (Supplementary Cooling). These applications can slash running costs and reduce demand on both the infrastructure and the refrigerated plant - lowering costs and environmental impact. Climate Wizard technology can also be adapted for use in very large applications.
					 
										
						
						The commercial Climate Wizard models are designed to deliver reliable, safe, low maintenance operation and straightforward installation. For example, it can be integrated very easily into building management systems, has inbuilt low-level chlorination to keep water healthy, delivers constant airflow at up to 200Pa and has an altogether unique water management system that enables Climate Wizard to achieve the highest evaporation efficiency of any evaporative air conditioner in the world. Features such as these ensure that it can be installed with minimal disruption, with extremely low ongoing maintenance.
					 
										
						
						In an independent benchtest conducted by the University of California, when two of the four compressors in a packaged air conditioner were disabled, and Climate Wizard added, the cooling performance increased from 46kW to 54.3kW (an 18% increase) and power used was reduced from 17.5 kW to 10.9kW (a 38% decrease). This means that much smaller (and, therefore, much cheaper) refrigerated air conditioners can be used to provide superior cooling at much lower costs, thus enabling greatly reduced payback periods (to as little as zero) to be achieved.
