Key Features
and/or Benefits
c:scape supports the creation of inspiring workplaces that offer people choice and control over how and where they work. It removes visual and social barriers, giving them better access to each other, their information and their technology. It enables people to connect with co-workers and team members in their own space, which drives trust, knowledge sharing and innovation in the workplace. It suits people working together, allowing them to switch easily between focused individual tasks and collaborative work.
With five simple components - beam, desking, screen, low storage and mid storage - c:scape is easy to plan and manage. It can be configured in a multitude of ways to create a variety of applications for both focused and collaborative work, from open plan to private office. Because the interconnected workplace should offer flexibility and accommodate change, reconfigurations are quick and cost-effective.
c:scape's design optimizes the use of real estate while reducing the cost of ongoing management. Combined with panels, c:scape can be used to define space and shape boundary and privacy options for a small team, or for a whole floor. Its light and open design makes spaces feel larger than they are, the thin worksurfaces create a light-scale aesthetic, even in the more dense layouts that best support collaborative work. The open leg design allows for knee swing, and encourages side-by-side collaboration.
Because 'plug-and-play' connectivity is critical to today's ways of working, c:scape was designed to support routing and easy management of and power and data cabling to the worksurface. Cabling is routed in beams under the worksurface, using cabling channels and harnesses. Faceplates integrated into the worksurface support easy connectivity wherever on the worksurface you require it.
