The EasyUP Downlight is a revolutionary lighting system that enables users to replace MR16 downlight globes with their feet planted firmly on the ground, eliminating the chance of ladder injuries. Magnets are used to hold the globe in place and a magnetic extendable wand enables you to remove the failed globe and easily insert a new one. The unique design of the EasyUp lighting system eliminates the need for any type of aftermarket heat shield or hood. EasyUp lights have been thoroughly tested and easily exceed the Australian Safety Standard.

EasyUp is a unique Downlight System that eliminates the potential of falling from ladders when changing downlight globes. Using the telescopic EasyUp Wand, halogen downlight globes can now be changed with two feet planted safely on the ground. 
The heart of the system is the unique self centring magnetic coupling that holds the globe in place. The heat dissipating body design also dramatically reduces the potential of fire and eliminates the need for a separate heat shield.

Through the combination of samarium cobalt magnets and a cutting edge electrical connection we have created a simple, safe and innovative means of changing a halogen downlight globe. EasyUp will fit any MR16 globe and can be changed in three basic steps.

The Magnetic Wand is lightweight and easy to use. It can extend to 2.4 meters and can be compacted down for storage. It is currently suitable for changing globes in ceilings of up to 4.5 metres in height (longer wands shortly available). The EasyUp system is ideal for most people, especially the elderly. With the wand fully extended a globe can be changed from a seated position, making it possible for the user to change a globe from a wheelchair.
