Fisher & Paykel SmartDrive™ machines are made of just three main parts: a small computer, a low profile agitator, and a simple Direct Drive motor. This means washing machines that can sense each load, use less water and run with less moving parts. The Direct Drive motor accelerates to a maximum spin speed of 1100RPM and a massive 386G Force, removing more water than other machines and reducing drying times. A self cleaning lint removal system means lint is disposed of automatically and hygienically.
The SmartTouch™ Control Dial is the interface to the SmartDrive™ Technology. It delivers an expert wash every time through 12 pre-programmed cycles including Towels, Regular, Heavy, Handwash, Sheets, Easy Iron, Bulky, Allergy, Quick, Bowl Clean, Rinse and Spin, as well as additional options of Soak, Eco, Softener, Dual Wash and Stain Treatment. The Soft Close Glass Lid delivers uncompromised quality and durability through toughened glass that won't mark. Its easy action mechanism means opening and closing is counter-balanced to deliver better ergonomics and hands free operation.
CleanSmart™ uses a low profile agitator to wash clothes by rolling them in and out of a concentrated solution of detergent. This gives the water saving benefits of a front loader with the ergonomic benefits of a top loader. Eco-Active™ Wash – 4 Star Energy Efficiency - A small volume of warm sudsy water is re-circulated through the clothes in a cascade effect. Then after this 'pre-soak', cooler water is added and agitated to finish the wash. The Eco-Active™ wash saves energy achieving 4 Energy Stars, but best of all it achieves a better clean.
CleanSmart™'s huge 10kg capacity is ideal for larger families. It not only means less loads to do the laundry but can also wash large bulky items with ease.
