Description
The origin of this design was a very ‘open’ request from Laurastar. This freedom allowed the designers to come up with solutions which questioned the usual standards of this type of product: How can an ironing station be used, transported and stored most comfortably? The iron itself was specifically studied for comfort and protection from heat. Ergonomics, weight and simplicity were at the centre of this design project. The result is a contemporary, compact and easy to transport product which can be used to vertically steam a garment on a hanger and to iron on the board itself.
Key Features
and/or Benefits
Laurastar Lift was designed with the objective of making the product as compact as possible to make it more convenient to use and transport. The components are united under a bell-shaped generator to achieve minimal footprint.
The handle of the Laurastar Lift has a dual purpose 1) it enables to carry it with one hand to move it from one place to another more conveniently, and 2) it serves as a space to store away the iron when it's still hot.
The steam generator rests on a base of 4 feet that enable to place it on the ground. The steam cord is also long enough to iron with the product on the ground. For example, one can easily iron hanging curtains. The 4 feet also serve to store away the steam cord after use for a more compact storage.
The iron of the Laurastar Lift has been designed to make it as slim as possible. The iron soleplate is as thin as possible. The result is both aesthetic and practical - a better ironing experience because the hand can guide more easily the iron.
The Laurastar Lift range is available in 5 contemporary colors (red, taupe, white, black, silver) to fit with everyone's interior decor.
