Description
Methven set out to design a tapware range that innovates in two areas; how we currently interact with tapware and offering a more energy efficient solution than current single lever mixers. The result was the revolutionary Tahi Twin Lever range which amalgamates two levers into one platform allowing a more precise and intuitive control while enabling both individual and mixed hot and cold flow, functionality never seen before in a single unit tap-ware product.
Key Features
and/or Benefits
Traditional single lever mixers in their default position (warm), draw both hot and cold water into the pipelines with every use. In most instances, the casual hand-washer doesn't run the tap long enough to even receive the hot, but merely primes the supply line which subsequently cools down. This needless waste of energy is avoided when hot and cold actuation is separated at the point of delivery, as Methven have done in this revolutionary new offering.
Due to the nature of this unique configuration, the levers maintain their orientation with the main tap body enabling a bold integrated aesthetic with clean surfaces and crisp joins - a dramatic departure from current single lever mixers. The Tahi Twin Lever range is part of the Tahi suite of products which is consists of a Shower System and Thermostatic mixers and now the Twin Lever product. The styling of the Tahi range is part of Methven's overall design language; a mix of European and Pacifica - simple, crisp design elements that have a distinct and differentiated aesthetic.
