Description

rokii is a sleek 3-in-one baby rocker, child's chair and ride-on toy. rokii grows with your family from newborn to preschool age, firstly as a soothing rocker for calming your baby, and then as a sturdy chair for your toddler. With the addition of the animal atop the rocking egg, it morphs into a modern rocking horse. Alternatively, the animal can be used as a ride-on toy on a standalone basis, either with wheels or to rock on its curved base when wheels are removed. This registered design has a combination of features and functionalities unique in the current market.

Functionality - adaptable features to suit a variety of functions for child's different developmental stages, in order to make parents' life easier

1. Baby rocker:
- 3 point adjustable angles for sleeping, sitting and feeding a baby
- optional brake to case rocking in upright positions when required
- washable 100% cotton padded liner.

2. Child's chair
- adjustable angle to enhance comfort
- sturdy construction to withstand child's usage.

3. Rocking/ride-on animal
- provides rocking fun when animal shape is attached to rocking egg, for a full size rocking horse
- provides smaller sized rocking horse if used independently of base.
- provides wheeled ride-on toy for mobility when wheels are attached to animal.

Safety - rokii has been designed with safety in mind, from the physical design, to the material choices to meet the high standards of parents

Key safety features include:
- 5 point safety harness to keep babies securely in the baby rocker
- low centre of gravity for stability of baby rocker and of ride-on horse
- inset runners under bamboo base to reduce chance of finger/toe squashing
- non-slip runners under bamboo base so rocker does not creep across floor when rocked
- non-toxic materials with no known health hazards (no BPAs, no phthalates, no PVCs)
- optional brake to prevent rocking
- compliant with required safety standards AS/NZS ISO 8124-1 and 8124-3.

Sustainability - rokii is intended to become a lasting part of the family by delivering long term usefulness and high quality

rokii is strongly built incorporating diverse functions in order to last for many years of use, and also be capable of recycling if preferred.

- Design allows longer useful life than competitor products currently available
- Main materials are fully recyclable (HDPE and aluminium)
- Bamboo base and handles are a sustainable material
- The cardboard packaging of rokii is designed to have a second life, acting as a 'stable' for the animal, prior to being recycled at the end of its useful life.

rokii is manufactured by an ISO9001 compliant factory and subject to stringent quality controls in order to ensure consistent quality and deliver safe performance. rokii has been tested for strength and weight bearing ability to far greater levels than required by the recommended age group, to allow for the unexpected. The look and feel of rokii is of sufficiently high quality that it can complement a sophisticated contemporary interior in a family home instead of being hidden away in a child's room.

The organic, curved outlines of rokii are designed to evoke a feeling of comfort and security, whilst delivering a sleek and appealing product that suits the needs of the whole family, from newborns and infants to parents. The chair base references the egg, the source of life, and provides a cosy and supportive cocoon for a small baby. The softly curved animal is suggestive of various animal shapes, allowing the child's imagination to project their preferred animal onto the object. The fitting together of top and bottom not only provides additional functionality, but also means it is more space efficient.
