NaviBot S employs an onboard camera and two CPU chips to create a map of your living space, charting its cleaning path. This system can capture images at 15 frames per second with the onboard camera, creating a map of your home and plotting a route to achieve exceptional coverage. Its 12 clever safety sensors help to protect your valuable items and the Virtual Guard™ can be activated to help prevent the NaviBot from cleaning in a particular area.
					For outstanding ease of use, the Navibot S model SR8980 comes equipped with an Auto Dust Emptying function (this feature is not available on the Navibot S model SR8950). The NaviBot S model SR8950 intelligently returns to the charge base where it can evacuate its dust container into a central 'bin', refreshing its charge and getting ready to clean again - all fully automated. It even cleans the main brush while on charge, so consumers don't even have to worry.
					NaviBot S can sense when it is collecting a larger than normal quantity of dust and debris, adjusting its program in order to concentrate on that zone until it is ready to move on. This includes a power boost to help enhance pick-up in the affected area, making pick-up highly effective. The power level adjusts to the amount of dust - automatically shifting to power boost cleaning mode when needed.
					Back in 2005, a Samsung robotic cleaner's height was typically over 200mm, but now in 2012, the NaviBot S is a tiny 80mm in height. Owing to its slimmer design, the NaviBot S can easily get into narrow spaces so it does not lose cleaning performance even in unseen locations like under the bed. Additionally, NaviBot S' sophisticated and trendy look, featuring a sleek appearance and very attractive control surface, enhance the sense of being in the presence of an advanced and high-tech robotic product.
