Description
Wiltshire Staysharp are unique knives that sharpen themselves, housed and stored in a scabbard that sharpens and hones the knives as they are removed.
The range features loose knives in three different handle styles, Polypropylene, triple rivet, and stainless steel. Scissors stored in self sharpening scabbards with polypropylene handles are also available. Knife blocks in the range, incorporate the same sharpening and honing technology stored in the block.
The Staysharp scabbard design incorporates a locking system that ensures the knife is securely in place with a hole in the blade of the knife, that does not affect blade integrity.
Key Features
and/or Benefits
Knives are sharpened and honed each time the knife is removed from the scabbard. The scabbard also acts as a storage system for the knife and carbide sharpening device. Earlier designs featured only a sharpening capability, not honing as well.
A hole in the blade of the knife enables the knife to be securely held in place in the scabbard for storage and safety. The hole does not affect the structural integrity of the knife blade.
Allows for the knives in scabbards to by stored standing upright.
Knife handles feature an ergonomic shape that makes them comfortable to use. A finger guide is formed as part of the handle mould for safety and comfort when cutting.
Convenient storage of knives within a block that also incorporates the sharpening and honing carbide device. As with the previous scabbard designs, the block also features the honing capability where as previous versions only feature sharpening capability.
